Yipee, I bought myself an exercise bike this weekend (on sale no less) to get myself back into my regular workout routine and by George it worked! I absolutely LOVE IT! As soon as i got home with it, I put it together and I ended up doing a 21 minute cardio workout with it and it felt awesome! I hadn’t done any intense Cardio in a while…a good 2 or 3 months now…and man i just felt alive after I was done! I was kicking myself for not getting this bike sooner.
I had stopped using my Elliptical a long time ago back in the spring, because I started running instead…well that and the fact that I was getting a bit bored with the elliptical after almost a year, and the one I had made so much noise that it drove me crazy (my neighbours too!). I changed things up with the running and I loved it, because I need variety in my exercise routine, otherwise i get bored and that’s when i just stop. The running was awesome, but then it got quite cold here not too long ago, and I’m just not a fan of running outdoors when it’s cold…Yes, that’s right, I’m a wuss when it comes to the weather.
But now, with my new exercise bike, I have regained my momentum for regular workouts and have finally found my little something new to get me motivated again. I am already looking forward to getting home tonight so I can hop on again and go for another 20…maybe even 30 minute workout. With this new motivation I will kick those last 5 lbs out of the park, and who knows, maybe even lose a few more than the 5…time will tell!
